CBSE board deleted 30% of the syllabus from the total syllabus in all subjects and practicals due to the loss of the number of working days in the academic year 2020 (due to the COVID 19 pandemic). From practical, CBSE board removed the entire investigatory project and activities. In physic theory, the deleted topics in the syllabus are mentioned below.

Nothing is removed from this chapter.
Chapter 5: Laws of Motion
Concept of force, inertia, Newton's first law of motion, momentum, Newton's second law of motion, impulse, and Newton's third law of motion.
Chapter 6: Work, Energy, and Power
Nothing is removed from this chapter.
Chapter 7: System of Particle and Rotational Motion
Statements of parallel and perpendicular axis theorems and their applications.
Chapter 8: Gravitation
Kepler's laws of planetary motion, acceleration due to gravity.
Chapter 9: Mechanical Properties of Solids
Elastic behavior, Shearing modulus of rigidity, Poisson's ratio, and elastic energy
Chapter 10: Mechanical Properties of Fluids
Nothing is removed from this chapter.
Chapter 11: Thermal Properties of Matter
